Kobarid Historical Trail
The five-kilometre hiking trail combines historical, cultural, archaeological and natural attractions in the vicinity of Kobarid. The historical heritage along the trail extends from prehistoric times through to the time after World War II. Outstanding highlights among the natural points are the gorge of the emerald Soča and the Kozjak Waterfall. Other points of interest on this trail are the Italian charnel house, archaeological site of Tonocov grad, Italian line of defence from World War I and the Napoleon Bridge.
The walk on the Kobarid historical trail can be combined with the Soča trail that takes you to Trnovo ob Soči (+6 km in one direction).
Price: 40 €/hour for a group of up to 30 persons
If a group is bigger than 30 persons, 2 guides are required.
Extra payment: entrance fee for the Kozjak Waterfall
Guided tours must be booked in advance.
