The Austro-Hungarian military cemetery is situated close to the road between Renče and Žigoni. During World War I, a military hospital for treating infectious diseases was located in the direct vicinity of the cemetery. According to the data of Italian authorities that organized exhumation of soldiers from military cemeteries in the 1930s, 704 persons are buried here, among them also civilians, evidence of which is a tombstone to Doroteja Cotič of Dornberk. Behind the central monument, several tens of tomb crosses dating from the 1920s and 1930s are fixed to the west wall.
