The passion of collecting was passed on to Aljoša Gerbec, the owner of the museum collection Ročinj, by his father, Toni. Aljoša has been collecting military and ethnographic items since his childhood. He is fascinated by old military tools and weapons that were used and adjusted for home use. His collection includes more than several thousand different objects. Some of them he dug up himself, some were given to him by locals and other collectors. The objects were discovered in the villages of Ročinj and Doblar and their vicinity. The museum is housed in the former building of the local administration of Ročinj.
In the village of Ročinj, turn for Kambreško and then stick to the left at the next fork in the road. Continue straight on, past the church, next to which is the local administrative office of Ročinj.
