Audace Pier (Molo Audace) stands opposite of Piazza Unità d’Italia and is a perfect spot for a stroll along the shore. The pier was built in the mid-18th century and was originally dedicated to St. Charles. The pier got the name Molo Audace at the end of World War I, when the Italian destroyer “Audace” moored there (3 November 1918).
