The cultural and historical intertwining of the Livek area (Livško) with the neighbouring Slavia Veneta formed typical Slovenian-Venetian architecture. Outstanding among the rare preserved houses is the restored Nježna hiša house at Jevšček. It is a thatched stone house with a ground floor and a basement. Placed in the basement are a pigsty, a hen coop and a room for storing tools. In the ground floor there are living rooms with a black kitchen and some original equipment; the attic above serves for keeping crops.
