During the time of the Isonzo Front, Globočak near Kambreško was one of the more important fortified Italian mountain peaks on the Kolovrat ridge, since it gave a good view over the Soča Valley and the Banjšice Plateau. Preserved are caves, trenches, gorges, water reservoirs and a memorial, which are all important reminders along the Walk of Peace from the Alps to the Adriatic.
Access is possible from the village Srednje and from the village Kambreško:
