The narrative of the Pristava Museum Collection is complemented by the multimedia exhibition on the Italian side of the border, titled Lasciapassare/Prepustnica (eng. Pass) presenting the history of Gorizia/Gorica, Nova Gorica and the border between the old and the new town. A mosaic of stories on life at the border with Slovenia and Italy, shown through different items, video projections and audio recordings.

In two rooms, both family and work events are shown in different ways. The first room covers the history, presenting both the Italian and the Yugoslav aspects. The second room, on the other hand, talks about the impact of history on ordinary people through five symbolic objects (a cigarette pack, a pass, miniature statue of Tito and a tank, and a copy of Franco Basagliaʼs book Lʼistituzione negata). Each of these objects activates a sequence of images and video interviews.

Outside the building, a photo exhibition on round panels presents fragments of testimonies collected by the Cultural Association Quarantasettezeroquattro during the past 15 years, which talk about key moments in the history of Gorizia in the first half of the 20th century.  The exhibition also includes illustrations by the artist Elena Gugliemotti.
