The Biodiversitario Marino (BioMa) is the museum dedicated to marine biodiversity in the Gulf of Trieste/Trst. It is located in the Nature Marine Reserve of Miramare/Miramar. Visiting it is like doing a long dive through all marine environments from the surface to the sea depths. The museum’s narrative uses multimedia technologies, 3D representations, immersive videos and acoustic experience of sea sounds that help the visitors to fully immerse themselves in the maritime atmosphere. The museum also addresses the issue of human impact on the marine environment.
