War Cemetery No. 248 in Dąbrowa Tarnowska

Military Cemetery

Dąbrowa Tarnowska’s WW1 Cemetery No. 248 recalls the region’s wartime past. Austrian architect Johann Watzal designed this military section within the parish cemetery, notably featuring a chapel on a small terrace. Here lie soldiers from many nations. The meticulously maintained rows of crosses offer a space for reflection on sacrifice and the tragedy of war. This historical site is open to the public.
