Staszkówka’s WW1 Cemetery No. 118 “Patria”, designed by Antoni Müller, features striking stone pylons topped with iron swords. Here are buried 763 soldiers: 439 German, 281 Austrian, and 43 Russian. The necropolis includes mass graves, rowed collective tombs, and individual stones.
In 2020–2021 this poignant site was renovated by the Małopolska Voivodeship Office. This cemetery is a testament to the region’s history, it’s a must-see for those exploring the Eastern Front.
