The cemetery is situated on the Uzhochsky Mountain Pass. The are very few information concerning the restoration of this site available. The location offers stunning views, but because of its altitude it is also exposed to some weather related conditions affecting the state of conservation. Here are buried 363 soldiers who died in the period of 8 months in Uzhochsky battle. Only 43 are identified (35 Austro-Hungarian and 8 Russian soldiers). In 1934, the Czechoslovak authorities restored this military cemetery and erected a monument to the fallen soldiers, which has been preserved to this day.
