The MeVe Memorial on the Piave River, hosted in a traditional Venetian Villa, narrates WW1 battles with a modern approach. It’s an accessible structure with restored elements highlighting its historical value. The MeVe’s exhibition is primarily digital, with stored objects regularly maintained.
The Municipality of Montebelluna and the Treviso Tourist Office, along with the DMC Montello Travel (coordinating seven municipalities), promote WW1 tourism in the area. The OGD “Cities of Art and Venetian Villas” (visit.treviso) and the Veneto Region’s DMS platform are launching a project promoting WW1 tourism.
Villa Correr Pisani is part of the Istituto Regionale Ville Venete, which supports Venetian villa heritage through funding, projects, events, and education.
