Called “The Lion of the Plateau”, Fort Lisser is a historic fort that played a role in the defense of the Italian front during World War I. Its structures and artillery provide insights into military engineering and strategy of the era. The fort is open to the public, with accessible routes and restored sections.
The structure was stabilised in the 2000s and restored on the occasion of the commemorations of the centenary of the Great War. The fort currently in good condition.
The Municipalities of Enego, Roana and Asiago and its Tourist Offices are in charge of the promotion.
