Charnel House Castel Dante

Located in Rovereto, this charnel house is a sombre reminder of the war’s human cost. It contains the remains of over 11,000 soldiers.
It is accessible by car and is a place of reflection and remembrance. It has been well-maintained, with ongoing efforts to preserve the site’s solemn atmosphere.
The Vallagarina tourist promotion agency, in collaboration with the valley community (second level public body) and the Italian War History Museum of Rovereto are in charge of the promotion.
