On Thursday, May 8, we joined the main Europe Day celebration in Ljubljana, at the invitation of the European Commission Representation in Slovenia.
The Walk of Peace Foundation from the Soča Region presented the transnational idea of the Walk of Peace, accompanied by the Kobarid Museum and the Soča Valley Development Centre.
Visitors could learn more, participate in interactive games, and talk to representatives of the participating organizations.
We were greeted by:
the President of the Republic of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar,
the Minister for Cohesion Dr. Aleksander Jevšček,
and the Head of the European Commission Representation in Slovenia Dr. Jerneja Jug Jerše.
The main stage hosted the European Wheel of Fortune, presenting all partner initiatives in an engaging and educational way. 🎡
The evening ended with a powerful concert by Leopold I. and guests!
