Tr\u017ea\u0161ki \u0161kofi so imeli v 13. stoletju na gri\u010du pala\u010do s stra\u017enim stolpom. V \u010dasu Bene\u0161ke republike je bila zgrajena trdnjava. V drugi polovici 15. stoletja je dal habsbur\u0161ki cesar Friderik III. na njenih ru\u0161evinah sezidati grad, dana\u0161nja podoba pa je rezultat naknadnih prezidav tako Bene\u010danov kot Habsbur\u017eanov. Avstrijci so v kletnih prostorih imeli je\u010de.<br \/>\nDanes v gradu domuje <strong>mestni muzej<\/strong> z zbirko srednjeve\u0161kega oro\u017eja.
