Obe pro\u010delji imata preprost pre\u010dni branik, postavljen za topni\u0161tvo. Baterija je izvajala <strong>nadzor nad t. i. \u201fpristani\u0161kim ustjem\u201d Malamocca in izlivom kanala San Pietro<\/strong>.<br \/>\nV bli\u017eini stoji <strong>utrdba Alberoni<\/strong>, \u0161tirikoten, skoraj pravokoten poligon, \u010digar stranice tvorijo kote skoraj 90 stopinj, da se prilagajajo terenu. Obod je obdan z jarkom, da varuje utrdbo pred morebitnim obleganjem. Zasnova ima dve utrjeni pro\u010delji, zgrajeni na dveh temenih poligona, obrnjeni proti morski obali oziroma laguni. Tretje pro\u010delje je bilo dodano kasneje in je obrnjeno proti pristani\u0161\u010du.
