Pokopali\u0161\u010de je ohranilo svojo prvotno podobo od prvih pokopov leta 1915 dalje. V baziliki je leta 1921 Marija Bergamas izbrala krsto neznanega vojaka, ki je bil nato z vlakom prepeljan v Rim k oltarju Altare della Patria.<br \/>\nNa pokopali\u0161\u010du je ve\u010d spomenikov in kipov.
