Most je <strong>9. oktobra 1927 slovesno odprl aostski vojvoda Emanuele Filiberto<\/strong>, poveljnik tretje italijanske armade, ki je ustavil avstro-ogrsko napredovanje prav v teh krajih. <strong>\u0160tirje obeliski na obeh koncih mostu<\/strong>, okra\u0161eni z reliefi, nosijo <strong>imena padlih mornarjev <\/strong>iz<strong> polka San Marco<\/strong> in <strong>181 prebivalcev Jesola<\/strong>.
