Je spominsko obele\u017eje za \u201f<strong>fante letnika \u201999\u201d (<\/strong>\u201f<strong><em>Ragazzi del \u201999<\/em><\/strong><em>\u201d<\/em>), tj. za <strong>italijanske mladeni\u010de, ki so bili rojeni v letu 1899, <\/strong>po dopolnjenem osemnajstem letu pa<strong> 1917 \u017ee vpoklicani v vojsko<\/strong>. Spomenik, ki je bil slovesno odprt 19.\u00a0junija 1983, naj bi bil napoved bratstva med vsemi ljudmi prihodnjih rodov. Vsako leto obletnico odprtja obele\u017eijo z javno slovesnostjo, imenovano <strong>Dan miru (Giornata della Pace)<\/strong>, med katero krstijo italijanske in tuje otroke.
