Prve\u00adnec, ki je iz\u0161el leta 1916, vsebuje devetindvajset pesmi, med katerimi so najbolj znane predvsem <em>Fratelli <\/em>(Bratje) in <em>San Martino del Carso<\/em>. <strong>Ungaretti<\/strong> je bil <strong>vodilni predstavnik hermetizma v Italiji<\/strong> in <strong>pomembna osebnost na italijanskem literarnem ter zgo\u00addovinskem prizori\u0161\u010du 20. stoletja<\/strong>. V kraju Castelnuovo najdemo Ungarettiju posve\u010den park (<strong>Parco Ungaretti<\/strong>).
