Leta 1948 ga je postavila jugoslovanska vojska in ga uporabljala za nadzor meje vse do leta 1991. \u010cudovit razgled s stolpa nam razkriva okolico, ki je bila, \u0161e zlasti v \u010dasu hladne vojne, strogo nadzorovana.
