Gorico je <strong>avstro-ogrska vojska<\/strong> po zaslugi svojih obrambnih polo\u017eajev na hribih okoli mesta branila ve\u010d kot leto dni. <strong>Kalvarija\/Calvario<\/strong> je bila <strong>del prve avstro-ogrske obrambne \u010drte<\/strong>.<br \/>\nDanes ostankov voja\u0161kih polo\u017eajev ni ve\u010d, obiskovalci pa si lahko ogledajo <strong>tri spomenike, posve\u010dene italijanskim vojakom<\/strong>: <strong>obelisk<\/strong>, posve\u010den voja\u0161kim oddelkom, ki so se bojevali tukaj, plo\u0161\u010dad s <strong>tremi kri\u017ei<\/strong> in <strong>nagrobni kamen<\/strong>, posve\u010den prostovoljcem iz Julijske krajine.
