{"id":8657,"date":"2021-05-17T08:49:48","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T08:49:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/location\/sabotin\/"},"modified":"2026-03-23T13:49:54","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T13:49:54","slug":"sabotin","status":"publish","type":"location","link":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/sl\/locations\/sabotin\/","title":{"rendered":"Muzej na prostem Sabotin \u2013 Park miru"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Zaradi svoje lege je bil <strong>Sabotin pomembna strate\u0161ka to\u010dka za obrambo Gorice\/Gorizia<\/strong>. <strong>Avstro-ogrski vojaki so tu zgradili kaverne, zakloni\u0161\u010da, opazovalnice, sistem bojnih polo\u017eajev<\/strong>, tu so kljubovali napadom italijanske pehote <strong>do \u0161este so\u0161ke bitke avgusta 1916<\/strong>. <strong>Z italijansko zasedbo Sabotina, Kalvarije\/Calvario in Gorice se je zlomilo t. i. gori\u0161ko mosti\u0161\u010de na desnem bregu reke So\u010de.<\/strong> Danes je obmo\u010dje Sabotina urejeno v <strong>Park miru<\/strong>, za ogled pa so najbolj <strong>zanimivi sistemi kavern na grebenu, ki so bili po \u0161esti so\u0161ki bitki preurejeni v italijanske<\/strong> <strong>topni\u0161ke polo\u017eaje za obstreljevanje avstro-ogrskih polo\u017eajev na Sveti Gori, Vodicah in \u0160kabrijelu.<\/strong> <strong>Po letu 1922<\/strong>, v \u010dasu fa\u0161izma, je bilo <strong>obmo\u010dje Sabotina<\/strong> progla\u0161eno za <strong>sveto cono (Zona sacra)<\/strong>. Postavljene so bile tudi <strong>\u0161tiri velike in tri male kamnite piramide<\/strong>, ki ozna\u010dujejo potek frontne \u010drte med \u0161esto so\u0161ko bitko. Na jugovzhodu sabotinskega grebena se dviga 535 metrov visoki vrh <strong>Sv.
