Kot najvi\u0161ja gora v masivu je bil zelo dobra razgledna strate\u0161ka to\u010dka. Za enega najbolj krvavih vrhov velja tudi sosednja <a href=\"https:\/\/www.soca-valley.com\/sl\/iskanje-dogodivscin\/aktivnosti\/pohodnistvo\/2021022411543267\/pohodniske-poti\/#area=*&amp;cat=%20Pohodni%C5%A1tvo%20in%20sprehodi-main,Pohodni%C5%A1ka%20pot,Daljinska%20pot,Tematska%20pot,Gorske%20ture-main,Ferata,Planinska%20pot&amp;filter=r-fullyTranslatedLangus-,sb-sortedBy-0&amp;ipd=41203335&amp;q=Batognica&amp;zc=12,13.67055,46.27249\"><strong>Batognica<\/strong><\/a>. Prvi frontni liniji obeh vojsk sta bili tu oddaljeni vsega nekaj deset metrov. V letu <strong>1917<\/strong> je tu potekala <strong>minska vojna<\/strong>, ki se je zaklju\u010dila z <strong>avstro-ogrskim miniranjem italijanskih polo\u017eajev 24. oktobra<\/strong>, zavzetjem gore in prodorom proti Kobaridu. \u0160e danes so na vrhu Batognice vidni <strong>kraterji<\/strong>, ki so jih povzro\u010dile mo\u010dne eksplozije.
