V prvi svetovni vojni so bili na zahodnih predelih \u010cukle razporejeni \u0161tirje bataljoni <strong>italijanske vojske<\/strong>. Na rombonskem boji\u0161\u010du so se najve\u010dje borbe odvijale prav za prevlado teh polo\u017eajev.
