Postavljen je <strong>bil v \u010dast padlim italijanskim vojakom<\/strong>, na njem pa so bila vklesana imena italijanskih voja\u0161kih formacij, ki so sodelovale v bojih za Gorico\/Gorizia. Po drugi svetovni vojni, leta <strong>1948, so spomenik razstrelili mladi skojevci z gori\u0161ke gimnazije<\/strong>, ki je takrat imela sede\u017e v \u0160empetru pri Gorici.
