Spomenik piramidalne oblike je bil zasnovan kot poklon vsem doma\u010dinom, ki so pretrpeli vojne grozote v imenu svobode. S svojo prisotnostjo ob glavni cesti opominja vse mimoido\u010de, da ohranjanje miru in so\u017eitja ni samoumevno, temve\u010d smo zanj odgovorni tudi sami, pa ne le z besedami, ampak tudi z dejanji. Spomenik sestavljajo plo\u0161\u010de iz nabre\u017einskega kamna. Na zgornjem delu sta vklesana avstro-ogrski kri\u017e in napis 1914\u20131918. Pod njima je trojezi\u010den napis:<\/p>\n

Spomenik je narejen po vzoru drugih spomenikov, ki jih je Avstro-Ogrska postavila na boji\u0161\u010dih \u017ee leta 1917. Na njem so vklesana imena padlih \u0161teverjanskih vojakov cesarske vojske, da bi jih re\u0161ili pozabe, v katero so bili predolgo potisnjeni.<\/p>\n
