{"id":9332,"date":"2021-05-17T08:49:34","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T08:49:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/location\/ossuary-temple-of-udine\/"},"modified":"2022-03-24T09:25:02","modified_gmt":"2022-03-24T09:25:02","slug":"ossuary-temple-of-udine","status":"publish","type":"location","link":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/it\/locations\/ossuary-temple-of-udine\/","title":{"rendered":"Tempio Ossario di Udine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La grande cupola del <a href=\"https:\/\/www.turismofvg.it\/tempio-ossario-di-udine\"><strong>Tempio Ossario<\/strong><\/a> a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.turismofvg.it\/udine\"><strong>Udine<\/strong><\/a> si vede gi\u00e0 da lontano. <strong>Le quattro statue sulla facciata centrale <\/strong>dell\u2019edificio rappresentano un <strong>alpino<\/strong>, un <strong>fante<\/strong>, un <strong>aviatore <\/strong>e un <strong>marinaio<\/strong>. L\u2019edificio \u00e8 composto dalla <strong>chiesa parrocchiale di S. Nicol\u00f2 <\/strong>e dall\u2019ossario, dove sono sepolti <strong>21.500 soldati<\/strong>, caduti nel Friuli Venezia Giulia durante la <strong>Grande Guerra<\/strong>. Le loro spoglie furono trasferite nell\u2019ossario da diversi cimiteri dell\u2019area tra il fiume Isonzo (So\u010da) ed il Tagliamento. Le spoglie furono tumulate all\u2019interno della <strong>cripta, sotto la chiesa<\/strong>. <strong>Due grandi tombe collettive custodiscono le spoglie di 5600 soldati non identificati<\/strong>, le spoglie degli <strong>identificati<\/strong> invece riposano nelle nicchie lungo il muro.<\/p>\n<p>Nella cripta si trova una <strong>scultura in bronzo<\/strong>, dedicata ai caduti delle <strong>divisioni Julia e Friuli<\/strong>.
