Venne <strong>costruito nel 1938<\/strong> su progetto dell\u2019<strong>architetto<\/strong> romano <strong>Ghino Venturi<\/strong>. La struttura occupa una superficie triangolare, \u00e8 formato da quattro torri, una centrale e tre laterali. In ogni torre, lungo le pareti, sono disposte le celle mortuarie che conservano i resti dei soldati identificati. I corpi non identificati sono sepolti in tombe comuni che si trovano al centro di ognuna delle tre torri laterali, collegate tra loro da corridoi sotterranei nei quali ci sono delle cripte. <strong>La torre<\/strong> pi\u00f9 importante \u00e8 quella <strong>centrale<\/strong>, dove <strong>riposano 13 uomini che ottennero la medaglia d\u2019oro per meriti di guerra<\/strong>.
