Li trovavano anche nelle grotte carsiche naturali, che utilizzarono vantaggiosamente come luoghi di dimora temporanei e per l\u2019immagazzinamento delle munizioni e dei viveri. Sugli altopiani carsici l\u2019unit\u00e0 speleologica del genio austro-ungarico ricerc\u00f2 e sistem\u00f2 molte grotte. A una di queste, <strong>per l\u2019ottima ariosit\u00e0 naturale e per il fatto di essere stata costruita a pi\u00f9 piani, venne dato l\u2019insolito nome di Grotta<\/strong> <strong><em>Klobasja jama\/Wursth\u00f6hle<\/em> <\/strong>(Grotta delle salsicce).
