{"id":9258,"date":"2021-05-17T08:49:35","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T08:49:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/location\/st-aloysius-chapel\/"},"modified":"2023-07-12T15:26:45","modified_gmt":"2023-07-12T15:26:45","slug":"st-aloysius-chapel","status":"publish","type":"location","link":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/it\/locations\/st-aloysius-chapel\/","title":{"rendered":"Cappella dedicata a San Luigi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <strong>Plave (Plava),<\/strong> sulla piana sulla sponda sinistra del fiume So\u010da (Isonzo), <strong>durante il fronte dell<\/strong><strong>\u2019Isonzo l<\/strong>\u2019<strong>esercito italiano <\/strong><strong>allest\u00ec<\/strong><strong> due grandi accampamenti militari<\/strong>, utilizzati dai militari che cercarono di conquistare la cima del monte Pri\u017enica e a quelli che combatterono sulle pendici del monte Kuk a Zagora. <strong>All<\/strong>\u2019<strong>accampamento inferiore<\/strong>, denominato <strong>Zagora<\/strong>, c\u2019era anche un <strong>cimitero militare<\/strong>, nei pressi del quale nel <strong>1916 fu costruita una bella cappella<\/strong> dedicata a <strong>S. Luigi<\/strong>. La sua statua fu posta nella nicchia sopra l\u2019altare principale. Nei mesi che seguirono l\u2019interno della cappella fu decorato con dei ricchi affreschi.
