{"id":9140,"date":"2021-05-17T08:49:38","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T08:49:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/location\/fort-poerio\/"},"modified":"2022-08-08T11:37:08","modified_gmt":"2022-08-08T11:37:08","slug":"fort-poerio","status":"publish","type":"location","link":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/it\/locations\/fort-poerio\/","title":{"rendered":"Forte Poerio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Il forte, oggi visitabile solo limitatamente al parco circostante, fu costruito tra il 1909 e il 1912 e appartiene alla <strong>serie di fortificazioni<\/strong> allora definite di \u201c<strong>ultima generazione<\/strong>\u201d, realizzate in calcestruzzo e cemento armato.\u00a0Si compone di un unico blocco difensivo, realizzato su due piani, capace di ospitare <strong>90 artiglieri e 50 fanti<\/strong>. Prima della Grande Guerra era armato con <strong>cannoni in cupola girevole e alcune mitragliatrici<\/strong>, di cui due a scomparsa, per la difesa ravvicinata.
