Durante la Grande Guerra nelle immediate vicinanze del cimitero c\u2019era l\u2019ospedale militare, dove curavano le malattie infettive. Dai dati delle autorit\u00e0 italiane, che negli anni Trenta si occuparono dello scavo dei cimiteri militari, risulta che <strong>qui sono sepolte 704 persone<\/strong>, tra questi anche civili, come comprova il monumento tombale di Doroteja Coti\u010d da Dornberk.
