Il Rio Pontebbana costituiva il confine tra la <strong>parte austro-ungarica<\/strong>, denominata <strong>Pontafel<\/strong>, e la <strong>parte italiana<\/strong>, denominata <strong>Pontebba<\/strong>. Dopo la firma dei trattati di pace il confine fu spostato a nord di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.turismofvg.it\/tarvisio\"><strong>Tarvisio\/Trbi\u017e\/Tarvis<\/strong><\/a>. Tuttavia, esistono ancora due cimiteri &#8211; uno su ciascuna sponda del fiume. Nel <strong>cimitero civile di S.
