Nel cimitero c\u2019\u00e8 un piccolo monumento con la scritta bilingue <strong><em>Qui riposano<\/em><\/strong><em> <strong>1934 soldati austro-ungarici<\/strong><\/em>. Su ognuna delle circa 1000 croci sono scritti i nomi di due soldati caduti.<br \/>\nDurante l\u2019Undicesima Battaglia dell\u2019Isonzo in questo territorio avvennero terribili combattimenti. L\u2019esercito italiano cerc\u00f2 invano di sfondare le linee di difesa austro-ungariche attorno il Monte Ermada\/Grmada.
