Nell\u2019estate del 1916 hanno mandato sul campo di battaglia isontino <strong>il 20<\/strong>\u00b0<strong> e 22<\/strong>\u00b0<strong> Reggimento fanteria di difesa territoriale (k. k. Landwehr Infanterie Regiment \u2013 LIR 20 e LIR 22).<\/strong> <strong>Nell\u2019agosto 1916<\/strong>, quando l\u2019esercito italiano conquist\u00f2 Gorizia\/Gorica, <strong>i due reggimenti hanno occupato posizioni ad est della citt\u00e0 (Gr\u010dna, Panovec)<\/strong>. Nel <strong>marzo 1917 cambiarono nome diventando il 20<\/strong>\u00b0<strong> e 22<\/strong>\u00b0<strong> Reggimento Fucilieri (k. k. Sch\u00fctzen Regiment \u2013 Sch. R. 20 e Sch. R. 22)<\/strong>. Sono rimasti sul fronte dell\u2019Isonzo fino alla fine dell\u2019ottobre 1917. <strong>Il monumento al 20<\/strong>\u00b0<strong> Reggimento fucilieri \u00e8 stato collocato nel parco Panovec nell\u2019estate 1917<\/strong> nelle vicinanze del suo comando e rappresenta oggi il monumento di riferimento per tutti gli ucraini che hanno combattuto sul fronte dell\u2019Isonzo.
