Venne <strong>costruita nel 1905<\/strong> a causa della <strong>deviazione dell\u2019acqua dalla miniera di piombo e zinco di Cave del Predil\/Rabelj\/Raibl<\/strong>. Subito dopo l\u2019apertura venne utilizzata dai minatori di Log pod Mangartom (Bretto) come scorciatoia per andare al lavoro. <strong>Durante la Grande Guerra<\/strong> i soldati austriaci <strong>collocarono sopra l\u2019acqua corrente delle travi<\/strong>, <strong>applicandovi sopra una ferrovia a scartamento ridotto<\/strong>.
