Andrea nell\u2019<strong>area dell\u2019ex cimitero della Grande Guerra<\/strong>. L\u2019area del Comune di Ruda era uno dei centri logistici delle\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.turismofvg.it\/it\/111617\/La-vita-nelle-retrovie\">retrovie italiane<\/a>, con numerosi edifici per l\u2019approvvigionamento dei soldati italiani.<br \/>\nLe prime sepolture vennero effettuate nell\u2019estate del 1915. A causa dell\u2019epidemia di colera il numero di morti aument\u00f2 cos\u00ec tanto che non ci fu pi\u00f9 spazio per le tombe. Il <strong>cimitero venne abbandonato alla fine del 1915<\/strong>e ufficialmente dismesso nel <strong>1935,<\/strong> quando <strong>le spoglie vennero trasferite nel Sacrario di Redipuglia\/Redipulja<\/strong>. Il Parco della Rimembranza fu realizzato nel 1995.
