Il libro di esordio, uscito nel 1916, comprende ventinove componimenti, i pi\u00f9 conosciuti dei quali sono <em>Fratelli<\/em> e <em>San Martino del Carso<\/em>. Ungaretti fu <strong>il rappresentante principale dell\u2019ermetismo in Italia<\/strong> e <strong>personalit\u00e0 di rilievo nella scena letteraria e storica italiana del XX secolo<\/strong>.
