Nel 1751 l\u2019<strong>imperatrice Maria Teresa <\/strong>autorizz\u00f2 con decreto ai <strong>greci ortodossi<\/strong> (greci e serbi) la costruzione di una chiesa per il loro culto liturgico. L\u2019incompatibilit\u00e0 dei due gruppi ortodossi determin\u00f2 la formazione della Comunit\u00e0 Greco-Orientale che nel 1784 pose la prima pietra per la costruzione del santuario dedicato alla SS. Trinit\u00e0 e a S. Nicol\u00f2. Il <a href=\"https:\/\/www.turismofvg.it\/it\/49812\/museo-della-comunita-greco-orientale-di-trieste\"><strong>Museo della Comunit\u00e0 Greco Orientale<\/strong><\/a> ha sede accanto alla chiesa di S.
