Sono collocati <strong>nei pressi di<\/strong> <strong>Tarvisio\/Trbi\u017e\/Tarvis<\/strong> non lontano dal confine tra l\u2019Italia e la Slovenia. I due laghi sotto la <strong>catena montuosa del Mangart <\/strong>e<strong> Ponza\/Ponca, <\/strong>collegati da percorsi non impegnativi, sono di <strong>origini glaciali<\/strong>, infatti si sono formati durante il ritiro dei ghiacciai (circa 15.000\u201216.000 anni fa). A causa del clima locale la zona dei Laghi di Fusine \u00e8 un buon esempio di <strong>fasce vegetazionali \u02bbinvertite\u02bc<\/strong>. L\u2019area circostante ai laghi offre passeggiate di varia durata.
