Durante la Grande Guerra nelle zone occidentali del \u010cukla erano disposti quattro battaglioni dell\u2019<strong>esercito italiano<\/strong>. Sul campo di battaglia del Rombon le maggiori battaglie si svolsero proprio per il dominio su queste posizioni.
