{"id":8330,"date":"2021-05-17T08:49:50","date_gmt":"2021-05-17T08:49:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/location\/mt-cosici-kosnik\/"},"modified":"2022-03-28T07:30:34","modified_gmt":"2022-03-28T07:30:34","slug":"mt-cosici-kosnik","status":"publish","type":"location","link":"https:\/\/www.thewalkofpeace.com\/it\/locations\/mt-cosici-kosnik\/","title":{"rendered":"Monte Cosici\/Ko\u0161nik"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Il monte Cosici (Cosich)\/Ko\u0161nik<\/strong> \u00e8 una altura marginale del Carso di Doberd\u00f2 del Lago\/Doberdob su cui s\u2019imperni\u00f2 la prima linea di resistenza austro-ungarica dal giugno del 1915 all\u2019agosto 1916, quando <strong>le truppe italiane lo occuparono nell\u2019ambito della Sesta Battaglia dell\u2019Isonzo<\/strong>. Durante quell\u2019anno abbondante fu pi\u00f9 volte sanguinosamente attaccato dagli italiani (versante ovest e sud), senza successo. I resti delle fortificazioni austro-ungariche, tuttavia, sono in buona parte sormontati dalle vestigia dei trinceramenti, ricoveri e postazioni d\u2019artiglieria costruiti dal Regio Esercito Italiano dopo l\u2019occupazione, fra l&#8217;agosto del 1916 e l\u2019ottobre del 1917.
