Il patrimonio del fronte dell\u2019Isonzo non sarebbe possibile renderlo disponibile ai visitatori se nei luoghi dove cent\u2019anni fa sono avvenute delle famose battaglie non ci fossero degli appassionati collezionisti e descrittori del patrimonio ritrovato. La gente locale nel corso di decenni \u2013 spesso casualmente \u2013 ha scoperto quanto \u00e8 rimasto della Grande Guerra: granate sulla soglia di casa, caverne sotterranee, lettere nascoste e altro ancora. Molti volevano sapere dove e come avevano combattuto i propri nonni. Proprio le iniziative legate alle collezioni private, diventate poi preziose raccolte museali, sono servite a indirizzare l\u2019attenzione verso la conservazione e la ricostruzione del patrimonio del fronte dell\u2019Isonzo. Oggi le storie sui soldati appartenenti a tanti popoli, sui loro combattimenti e sulla quotidianit\u00e0 della guerra sono proposte da numerosi musei.<\/p>\n
